The trick here is that funky upstroke/downstroke strumming pattern which is probably the only difficult part to playing this song. The upstroke/downstroke is on an F#m barre chord, and the trick is to alternate between lifting your index finger off and then placing it back on the fret . Other than that, it's all fairly simple chords. It sounds like Courtney Love is probably playing an open A chord on that main riff, while Eric Erlandson's playing a barre chord.
