Topic: acoust/electric issue

Hello everybody! Got a Alvarez a/e used and right before a gig changed out the battery by unscrewing and taking out the controls. Now I have no electric capabilities. Checked the wires and they seem to be fine and connected. What the hell did I do wrong? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Do it again.  Batteries do die in the packaging sometimes.
