there doing a thread like this on the acoustic forum. i think that it would be nice to know how far the guitar world spans.

im from booneville, ARkansas

im 17 and have been playing for a little over a your now. i cant go a day without picking up my strat.

North Texas...town of Sanger. Been playing mandolin a couple of years now...guitar about forty...

I'm from Sale outside Manchester in the UK. Going through a midlife crisis playing now I'm in my 40's. Use to play when I was 13-14.

Hello Oldsoulman. I'm living in the Cleveland, OH area. I took up a guitar about 2 and half years ago at age 42. It's inspiring to hear about other people my age starting guitar. Maybe there's still hope for me.

I am from near BRUSSELS, in BELGIUM EUROPE, 51 years old and retired. Just have a lot of fun and joy playing guitar and surfing on the web, always starting at "chordie" and ending at the same place.
I can't work anymore due to a severe car crash, but I AM STILL STANDING, I am very well insured, and originally my occupation was/is medical doctor. I passed a lot of real difficult moments, having a verteber exploded in 5 pieces and 32 fractures in 1 foot. It ain't easy, it is not funny and I can't do a lot of things, like skiing, walking, but my guitars keep me in shape.

I'm from louisiana in the usa.  just graduated high school and been playing guitar for about a month now.  i started off learning pretty slow but im picking it up pretty quick now.
