Topic: Day At Tha Beach

Any chordie junkie's get to spend a day at the beach this summer yet ????

Yesterday the misses and our pup [big dog] spent the whole day at Cresent beach on the south shore of Nova Scotia. Long sandy beach, warm salt water, and big waves, what a blast. Haven't done that in twenty years, need to do it more for sure.

Badeye, there's a small resort town just a stone's throw from my house.  Oneida Lake is right here, so I take the kids down to the beach quite often.  It's not the same as the Ocean as it's fresh water, but it is a beach all the same smile  Sometimes we go and the kids play, sometimes I bring my guitar.  Usually we only go for a couple hours though, not all day.

I miss the days of going out on the boat and jumping off the back and just swimming in that cool deep water.  I wouldn't mind an Ocean front beach to find pretty shells and random hermit crabs and such either.  Our beach just has random bits of broken glass and sea gulls that will steal your belongings if you leave them on the blanket while you take a quick dip in the water sad

What constitutes excellent music is in the ears of the listener.

My Wife and I had a chance to stay 11 days at Myrtle Beach this summer, it was great because it's been a few years since we'd been, took one of my guitars played out on the balcony, had a few drinks, met lots of new people soaked up the sun and had a great time.
