Topic: 3 memberbands

I know there has been the same topic, but I wanted to know how bands like ZZ-TOP, THE POLICE, CREAM, JIMI HENDRIX have such a wall of sound using 1 guitar, 1 bass and 1 drum, playing solo and rhythm at the same time.

Another is the Tex-Mex/Southern Rock Trio, the pride of San Angelo Texas.... Los Lonely Boys!

Most times it's raw talent, skill, and knowing how to get the most out of yourself and your equipment.

Agreed! I much prefer to get it done without excess volume.
Played a large convention room at a Gulf Shores hotel where 300 parrotheads were seated.
We used two 300 watt J.B.L. EON speakers for harmonica, guitar and vocals and two more EONs just for my tuba. We were not excessively loud but that much power gave us a presence that most adequately filled that big room.

We pronounce it "Guf Coast".
