Topic: "Daughters"
Just thought I would share this. A few months ago I went to visit my daughter and we were driving around town and she started the CD player in my pickup and I had a Disc in it that I had recorded and wanted to see how it sounded in my cars stereo. I had forgot it was in there. There was just one song on the cd but she said can I have it. I said sure and never thought about it again.
This weekend my wife Lizzie went to visit her and they went shopping. Maria turned on her CD player and on come Dad playing
"Ride On" and my daughter was singing along and knew every word . Her mother thought it was so cool Maria called me later and said please send a CD with about 12 songs on it.
Maria's 21 yrs old now and is really a neat kid. She is a music junky and loves all kinds of music. When she was a fifth grader her science teacher had music trivia questions nearly everyday. The other kids were so frustrated when Maria would usually know the answers.
Music is the single best thing to break down barriers and bridge generation gaps, share your music with your kids
