Topic: What a week

This seemed to be one of those weeks where everything just seemed to be jinxed. My wife took her car in for inspection and found out it needs new rocker panels( about an $800.00 fix),my son received a cut on the back of his hand requiring a visit to the emergency room ,a visit to a hand specialist, surgery and follow up rehabilitation,my truck has decided to play will I start or not and to top it off I shot myself with a nailgun in my left index finger(no doctor visit but it's swollen and sore). Now that the weekend is here I'm not sure if I should go out and about or hide under the bed.Normally I would relax with my guitar but since I'm down to two working finger on my left hand that really isn't an option. Maybe I'll just watch television and peek through the curtains, that seems safe enough(LOL)

Re: What a week

This is the week that's gonna make NEXT week seem really awesome.

Me with my first ukulele, a Junior Beatles model, in 1966.  After Mom threw it down the stairs in a fit of rage, I became a drummer for life.  At age 43, I bought my second uke...

Re: What a week

Well, I hope you mean peek through the curtains from inside your house towards the outside world.  Because if it's the other way around, I'd have to say that doesn't sound at all safe.

Sorry you had a bummer week, but you're still sucking wind under your own power.  That's worth something.

Re: What a week

And if you hide under the bed, you will probably get a m,ean scratch from a mattress spring , which will get infected.  Sorry about all the bad luck, but you should just go out and do your normal routine.  Things always get better.

I have finally found happiness in my life.  Guitars, singing, beer and camping.  And they all intertwine wonderfully.

Re: What a week

Went to the river, launched a boat and did a little fishing to slow down life. Much better outlook on things even though I didn't catch anything. So a little yardwork today and maybe a little more fishing therapy. Thanks for your feedback guys

Re: What a week

Sounds like a heck of a week!  I agree with Kenny... some beers and relaxation.  Sounds like you found a little of that with the boat (and YAY no accidents).  Hope next week is a lot better for you!
