I printed a song MILLION MILES from Reamonn
Because there was a Bm I printed it with +5semitones...

Re: semitones

Hi Tanjafrei and welcome to Chordie,

I assume that you were looking for easier chords so you transposed it +5 semitones to make the Bm an Em. What you have done is raised the key by 5 semitones and the capo (if used) will make it even higher.

If you are wanting to keep the song in the same key then transpose downwards for example going down 2 (-2) semitones would make the Bm an Am but if you then put your capo on the 2nd fret the Am you played would in effect be a Bm.

However getting back to your original transposition of +5 semitones. As there as 12 semitones in an octave by putting the capo on the 7th fret you will be back to the original key albeit an octave higher.

I hope that helps,

Roger
