Topic: Klub 27 and the really bad ones

I often wonder what would be if they would not have died so early... that is basicly what this is about. even tough I was not born when they were long not with us anymore, I still do love their work and can not get tired of it. as for the bad ones, well, not difficult to understand.
hope some of you will like it...

{K 27 and the really bad ones}

[Am]What if Jimmy Hendrix wasn’t [F] death but still alive
[Am]Would he still play [F]guitar with his [C]teeth?
[Am]Or would he have [F]who can know[C joined the Jackson Five
[Am] or would he have [F] fallen in love with [E] punk and [Am] anarchy

[[C] I don’t know, [F] I can’t tell
[C]He died long ago
[E]And sure went not to [Am] hell

[Am]What if Janis Joplin wasn’t [F]gone but still with us
[Am]Would she still try to [F]drink her blues[C] away?
[Am]Or would she be in [F]rap and hip-hop[C] just to please the crowds
[Am]Or would she say there’s [F] nothing more for [E] me to do and [Am] say

[C]I don’t know, [F] I can’t tell
[C]She died long ago
[E]And sure went not to [Am] hell

[Am]What if Jim Morrison was still [F]here not over there?
[Am]Would he still get [F] drunk and stoned and [C]all and LSD
[Am]Or would he be [F] fat and hairless, [C]sick and in a chair
[Am]Or may be doing [F] bad commercials [E]on a bad [Am] TV

[C]I don’t know, [F] I can’t tell
[C]He died long ago
[E]And sure went not to [Am] hell

[Am]What if Hitler, [F] Mao, Stalin[C] were still on their thrones
[Am]Don’t wan to imagine [F] how bad this would[C] be
[Am]Janis, Jimmy , [F]Jim, and others [C]would never have been known
[Am]Surely we would [F] all have ended [E] in deep [Am] misery

[C]I know for sure, and [F]have to tell
[C]They died long ago
[E]And yeah, they are in [Am] hell

Re: Klub 27 and the really bad ones

you can see how this was formated by clicking on the quote at the bottom right something to use for your next song also there is a explaination at the beginning of the forum a "sticky" you missed a few important code characters smile

Re: Klub 27 and the really bad ones

Very good wannabelikejimmorrison,

You mention so many here i liked . I do wish they were still around. It would be great to see what path
life would have taken them on.

I do like your writing and the what ifs ! Good work.

Old Doll.

Why Blend in with the Crowd ? When you were made to stand out !

Re: Klub 27 and the really bad ones

thanks Russel , I will try to make it better next time. it sure looks better this way but I still do not get the code character things. why is that so important. thanks anyway...

Re: Klub 27 and the really bad ones

Thank you Old Doll. It means a lot to me if you like it. keep standing out  ; )

Re: Klub 27 and the really bad ones

in chopro formating the [ song ] at the beginning turns it on but there is no space between the [brakets] like I have above and it must have [/song] at the end to turn the formating off and to get the name of the song you just do this {t:name of song} notice the different brakets next you enter {st:by your name} and there is no space between the chord and the words like this
[E]the rain in [A]spain lies [D]mainly in the [E]plain but notice there is a space before the next chord just click on the quote and look at it smile
