Chordie to Kindle

Anybody perfected the mobile e-(music)book?  I'd like to import my chordie songbook into my Kindle - far better than travelling with a laptop.  Or, can anyone provide some input on converting Chordie documents to file types other than Text, that could be imported on another device?
