I don't put any less stock in you because of your age. Mozart was the most brilliant musicakl mind ever in my opinion and he died younger than me.

I did also at your age, but many moons passed before i got the chance
to explore it.. lets just say im a girlette!! I have clothes in my closet
older then you ! but feel very young again

Hi All!
I'm turning 39 tomorow (friday the 13'th... <img src="images/smiley_icons/icon_twisted.gif" border=0 alt="Twisted Evil"> ). I've played for 5 month soon, and I regret I didn't start early in my life (spent my 15 to 25 on the golf course...). Would probably have gotten more girls with a guitar than a golf bag <img src="images/smiley_icons/icon_lol.gif" border=0 alt="Laughing"> .
Next year I'm determined to perform on my 40'th b-day (a couple of beers and I'm quite close to Clapton already, if you take away the barre chords and some other non important stuff he knows).
Havn't seen any more swedes in this forum, are there any out there?

im 14 which has its ups and downs guitar wise, some people are surprised at how well i do play and others just keep telling me what im doing wrong! im surprised how many guys (even my age) think teenage chicks cant play. but whatever im sticking to my slogan:
who says chicks cant play jazz guitar?

I´m 14, and I have played guitar for less than a year but still I learn incredably quikly althoug I take no lessons and have more experience playing the flute <img src="images/smiley_icons/icon_redface.gif" border=0 alt="Embarassed">

Im 47 - Ive been playing for 25 years and its not age that makes me feel old or young - watching someone who is more accomplished than me (and that isnt difficult!) makes me feel like a kid lol. Age is immaterial guys - if you rock, you rock!

Hey Missen ... how strange! I play just like Clapton too! If it weren't for all the barre chords, hammer-ons, slides and fast picking and other (as you put it) 'none important stuff' like being able to play brilliantly!... oh no, sorry, thats just when I've had a skin full!! <img src="images/smiley_icons/icon_twisted.gif" border=0 alt="Twisted Evil"> hehe! 30 next year by the way!

I'm 15. I havn't been playing guitar that long, but I have lots of experience with other instruments, so that helps. <img src="images/smiley_icons/icon_biggrin.gif" border=0 alt="Very Happy">

I'm 56 this month, playing since 13, and I learn something new every day. If you think about it, you have a piano's worth of notes available, and an almost infinite way of combining them.

I don't know the age of the other chordians, I am 51 years, and I guess that the age of members here, is hanging somewhere around 40 YEARS
