Topic: A MUSIC INSTRUMENT FOR X-MAS & NEW YEAR?

Christmastime = present time.
In fact the real spirit of X-mas has gone.

PRESENTS are given all over the world.
In Europe people give more and more money, like 25$-->150$. A lot of people get USELESS PRESENTS.

DID ANYBODY get as present a guitar, or another instrument? IS IT REBATE PERIOD IN USA?
It's rebate period, I purchased a Blue Ray player.

I was in a gigantic electrostore and bought mmyself 10 BLUE RAY DISCS a Blue-Ray DVD player was included, 200$. (without dvd's: same price).

Are guitars in this period cheaper or not?

What price range? For your 12 year old kid, a combo: Squier, 30W amp or an epiphone?
Drums?

I got guitar stuff... I bought guitars!

For my 13 year old... an SX Kit for $115 including 10w amp, electric guitar, tuner, gig bag... much nicer than the squire and cheaper too!  For the hubby... an SX fat strat copy for $129 ... again, way nicer than a squire and cheaper again.  He did have to learn how to set it up tho (and buy himself an amp).  Cheaper than usual?  Not really... I think now that the season is OVER everything will be on sale!

What constitutes excellent music is in the ears of the listener.
