I need to creat set lists from the songbook to later be deleted or edited

Welcome to chordie.
I would create new songbooks called simply "Set list 1..2" etc and put in the songs that you want to use from the Chordie index.
The edit function is not working at the moment but work arounds have been discussed by members here's one thread. http://www.chordie.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=12795
