Hei
Just wondering if anyone has seen or used a G7 Cappo?
Any thoughts on performance, lifespan & where to buy
them would be appreciated!
Thanks

I have a Keyser myself when I have the need for one (as oppose to transposing chords) <img src="images/smiley_icons/icon_biggrin.gif" border=0 alt="Very Happy"> . Go to the G7 website they have a list of their distributors.

I have a Shubb and a G7 and I prefer the Shubb. It's less bulky.
How much do they cost?
like roughly 30 - 50 bucks
My fist capo was a ball point pen tied on with string, didn't have many features but cost a LOT less than 40 bucks. I can't imagine a capo that I would pay that much for.
Fell free if you want too though....
I have a Kyser spring type, cost $ 12.95 canadian. seems to work well.Very easy to use.
....Badeye.
If you like nice things - get a G7 - I have one and its nice to have something that is well designed and made. They are very easy to use and don't get in the way - but they are quite heavy as they are made from almost all solid metal.
There's a lot of skill and craftsmanship that goes into most guitars - and often we use a cheap or ugly capo - just check out the user list on the G7 web site.
The cheapest place I found was via ebay- milenium music in cheltenham - less than £20 delivered.
I made a cappo using a nail, rubber tubing and elastic and it works pretty well.
