Need Some Opinions Please !

wayne you have done a very good job of putting in the pictures in with the music,I think the music is fine,you might ad a little lead guitar,pancho and lefty is one of my all time favorite songs,I think it is great you are taking the time too do this for him.

I guess my age will show here... I don't know that song.  It sounds great tho!  I do think it needs a little "something" ... maybe that harmony on the chorus like you said.  I don't think you want to take away from the beauty of the "simplicity" of it with lead guitar... but then again I could be sooo wrong, like I said, I don't know the song.  I love your playing, and your voice is very clear and strong.  Excellent job as always Wayne!!

If I may add something else to my comments.  I just listened to it again.  I don't know if you were pulling away from the mic some or what, but sometimes I had to strain to listen to you.  You faded out in some places.  Now it could be my speakers.   

Again, though, you have a command of the melody and you certainly made this song yours.  I could listen to you and the guitar alone, without anything.  There was something haunting about it and the pictures added to that effect. 

I agree with Amy, the beauty of the "simplicity" of it with your guitar is good.

As you know I am kinda narrow minded and set in my ways but I really want to make this special and I may have to go to a recording studio. I appreciate your opinion .

The interface recorder is absolutely got me frustrated and almost ready to give up. I don't think it likes windows vista. I almost smashed it today and I had to go walk it off and I haven't returned to it yet

I boxed the interface back up and said to heck with wasting hours trying to get it to work with my pc. It was designed with Mac users in mind and there were other things I did not like . I am on the hunt for a new interface now, I am not locked into buying one with firewire anymore. With just two inputs USB can handle what I am going to do.

It had me down but I'm not out 

I just thought if they are selling it to be compatible with windows it should work with the new versions not just 5 yr old XP and some vista but not all and I got tired of looking at the innards of my computer. I figured my time aint worth much but why waste it on something that has some design or programming gliches .

I was ready to kick some buddies butt , but my wife always has to remind me ,

Yup did the updates and jumped through all the hoops and the cubase seemed to be ok but the interface mixer controls weren't working right and after alot of research it seems a common problem

Anyway it"s on the way back to where it  come from
