Topic: cant tune my amp to the right sound

so i recently bought a marshall combo amp and i just cant get my blues sound outa it nor my classic rock i need help lol

if it's a particular sound from a famous artist you're looking for chabces are they were using either an analog pedal or digital effects. If you're just beginning you may want to search the forum for effects. There's lots of advice.

I also got a Marshall, it came some serggested setting, just to put you in the right area, if you did not get this info, visit the Marshall site, it is a place to start, and you go on from there.

Welcome redsox.  Try "The Gear Page".  Their website has plenty of forum talk about trying to get a particular tone.

Alot depends also on what Marshall amp it is . I owned a MG250DFX and I just couldn't get the tone I wanted and sold it and purchased a tube amp and got the warm blues tone I was looking for.

thnx guys yea i've been playing for 8yrs but its always been acoustic and I bought an MG30DFX somthing like that but I will definately check out the other forums <3
