Topic: Gillian Welch, "Everything Is Free"

Hello Everyone,

Old Doll and I have been exchanging songs lately and this is one I thought she should do. She wanted me to do a closeup video of how I play it so here it is. I am sorry I can't explain what I am doing better but hopefully you can read my hands. No I don't have a middle thumb like the vid says smile
Sorry I forgot the lyrics toward the end smile

Thanks Wlbaye,

You did a fine work on this one. Its well worth listening to and learning from. I always find
visual so much more easy to follow. So im a happy bunny with all you do there.

Why Blend in with the Crowd ? When you were made to stand out !

Re: Gillian Welch, "Everything Is Free"

A most pleasant song, wlbaye.
Well played and sung.

We pronounce it "Guf Coast".
Ya'll wanna go down to the Guf?

Re: Gillian Welch, "Everything Is Free"

Thanks for not beating me up Tuba,

Old Doll wanted to see how I play it. I use this pattern alot on folks songs and I know the guitar experts are frowning on me. I Travis pick also in a couple of patterns but this is just something I just started doing many years ago and I can keep 4/4 time with it, but can't really tell folks what I am doing. Sometimes my thumb goes where it wants to.
