Topic: IT'S BEEN AWHILE

I havent posted for a while , Here's one I think is new to some

A Well Worn Face                                                    mcvicker 9-9-09


The times are shown like a face well worn
when you’re young and when you’re  new
some can see the lace around your eyes
that say ahhhh, I know you threw.

oh the trouble, but the
fun that you bring
all of  us sing to the crazy laughter that you create
And as years go by
those kisses around your eyes
Bring on a well worn face

And hard times too
We see our way through
ask Ollie Bolger, he knows its true
but he loves his friends and they love him.
we have to walk and lead our horse thru town

Good loving family and
Hard times and good ,
Brings on a well worn face

The cross we bear from this world
And through Christ our Lord
He knows this well
and He loves a well worn face!

I thought ; If I had one idea,
and took it from beginning to end.
I would try another.

Oh so good my friend,

I do love your usage of simplicity to state a multitude. Its a fine piece. It reminds me
of all the laces around me own eyes at this stage of life. I wear them with pride lol i earned some of  them,
through real  sad  and good ole laughter times.
