my acoustic guitar is a s101 is that a good guitar I mean it's no fender but is it a good guitar for a beginner

Who is the maker of your S101? It could possibly be better than a Fender or at least made by one of Fenders many builders. As long as it feels and sounds good to you it really doesn't matter what name is  on it.

I believe the S101 guitars are made by the Sejung Corperation...

What model did you get?  I don't have any personal experience with the brand. They seem to be a decent bank for the buck guitar though...
BTW (IMO) Fender acoustics usually aren't that good. However, there are always a few exceptions to the rule.  In general though, Fender does great electrics but their acoustic line has never really excelled.

It might be made by gibson thats at least what I heard but I thout it was to good to be true

Not made by Gibson, but a clone of Gibson perhaps.  Did you ever come up with a model number or any other identifier?

hi jokergtar,I think if it plays well and you are happy with it you should not really be concerend with a big brand name.I started with a cheap sears silvertone,and I liked it at the time.

hi guys, I have a Greg Bennett D5. Not a ver expensive guitar, but feels good to play and I really enjoy it, Its not the $$ its the fun you have with it that counts.

BTW anyone know much about Greg Bennets???
