Topic: "Carved in Stone" - a blues

Here's my one and only song... just lyrics... haven't come up with a definitive tune for it...
I put some standard chords in just to give people an idea

At the moment, I'm doing it as an E5/E6, A5/A6 shuffle with the last two bars as a turnaround walking down to finishing on a B5 chord. There's lots of blues standard tunes that fit sort of...

preferably as a Robert Johnson style shuffle


the lyric lines generally are sung in the first two bars of each 4 bar line

Your so right with these words.

For what or why ?  It goes on and on and on. No amount of deaths in war ever stopped the next war happening.. Such a waste of life.

hi paul great lyrics,the wars are causing a lot of grief,poorly equipped soldiers trying to do their job with their hands tied just to brring peace to all,thanks for the thoughts....stay cool
