Topic: SQL Error

I'm getting the following error when clicking on the "My songbook" tab:

Warning: mysql_query() [function.mysql-query]: Unable to save result set in /var/www/chordie/include/functions.inc on line 359
mySql reports: Got error 12 from storage engine

This query was executed:
select * from songbook where songbookname='Good' and owner='tantumonium'

Please help!

Thanks.

Re: SQL Error

I cannot accsess my songbooks either ... keeep getting the following message . All other functions of chordie work fine .

Warning: mysql_query() [function.mysql-query]: Unable to save result set in /var/www/chordie/include/functions.inc on line 359
mySql reports: Got error 12 from storage engine

This query was executed:
select * from songbook where songbookname='4th book' and owner='evsynator'

any resemblance to my songs sounding anything like the original is highly unlikely.

Re: SQL Error

My songbook seems to have crashed as well. Now that the heat in Georgia is breaking I was looking forward to returning to music. Anyone have any ideas on what to do?

Re: SQL Error

i am getting an error message too.

I have emailed per about this. Hopefully he will have time to fix this soon.

I cannot get the home page or any where else really apart from in here by going through my history.

Re: SQL Error

Logged in and got this

mySql reports: Table './guitaradmin/songbook' is marked as crashed and should be repaired

This query was executed:
select ID from songbook where owner='crazybaby' and songbookname='My songbook'

I cannot access my songbook and I cannot access any tabs.

Please look into.

Re: SQL Error

Am seeing the same error . . . give me a shout if you need a hand with the fix, I'm a certified MySQL DBA

Re: SQL Error

I too am getting the same message and I also have contacted Per about the situation. In fact the only way I can log in successfully is from the Forum page and not from the home page.

I am sure that Per will remedy the situation shortly.

Re: SQL Error

Re: SQL Error

Well I'm up and running!!!!!!!!Little scare, but nothing to call home about!!!!
Weird how chordie was down for a while, and the pillars of the earth almost came tumbling down

Forgive your enemies, but always remember their names!

Re: SQL Error

Well, all is well now.

You can see all my video covers on http://www.youtube.com/bensonp1000
I have finally found happiness in my life.  Guitars, singing, beer and camping.  And they all intertwine wonderfully.

Re: SQL Error

I realised Chordie was important to me but I didn't realise how much until I lost it for a day!  By the way, if you are in the UK and lost access to the Beatles you can see the ones on my Song Book if you press Print View  Under BOWTALK. I hope it works for you because I can recover all my own lost Beatles syuff.

Re: SQL Error

I checked - you can view all the Beatles songs that I have collected but of course they are in my key and are showing in guitar chords whilst I saved them for Ukulele BUT at least they are there for access.

A big thank you to all at Chordie for their service - about time I bought a T shirt!

Re: SQL Error

In fact, if you punch in Beatles to the Search engine under Public Songbooks, you can gte loads of Beatles songs, turn them into VIEW and print them off to circumvent the ban that exists on UK websites.
