Topic: 3 chord songs?

hey guys im begining to teach two girls guitar tomorro of age 15 and 10
the song id be looking for would be of genre :
indie
r&b
pop

Go to the public books section and look for beginner books.  You can look at mine - both starting with "Zurf's..." and many others.

Hello Wardc,

I guess Halo by Byonce would be a good starter, it does have 4 chords not 3 but  they are repeated over and over with no deviations.  The original has a Bm but you can transpose it to simpler chords. 

Every young kid will know that one.
