Topic: A sweet set of chords to play

Am F C G try it you have nothing to losse......well..... except for time

Re: A sweet set of chords to play

I like it.  Try this one: D, A, Bm, F#m, G, D, G, A.  It should remind you of Pachabel's Canon in D.

Re: A sweet set of chords to play

Interestingly when I google the Am F C G  I get a couple familiar tunes, both good ones too.  Thanks and welcome to CHORDIE to you both.

awsome set of chords

Re: A sweet set of chords to play

badeye that one looks alot like folsom prison blues and i like it alot. I also like EM C G D it is simple and can produce alot of songs when used in a pick and strum combination while adding your 7th notes in different places in the progression.

Re: A sweet set of chords to play

ya thats a cool pattern as well. i use the same ones in a different pattern like G D Em C.

cool to change em up eh.

Re: A sweet set of chords to play

Lots of great songs with G D Em & C chords...   I've been playing G Em C D a lot lately... "Stand By Me"

[b][color=#FF0000]If your brain is part of the process, you're missing it. You should play like a drowning man, struggling to reach shore. If you can trap that feeling, then you have something.
