I like it. Try this one: D, A, Bm, F#m, G, D, G, A. It should remind you of Pachabel's Canon in D.

awsome set of chords
badeye that one looks alot like folsom prison blues and i like it alot. I also like EM C G D it is simple and can produce alot of songs when used in a pick and strum combination while adding your 7th notes in different places in the progression.
ya thats a cool pattern as well. i use the same ones in a different pattern like G D Em C.
