Welcome to Chordie!
Nice, I've heard good things about Crafter guitars. What model did you go for? Love to hear your opinions when you get her in smile  Is this your first venture into playing? -Pix

Re: new to chordie

I bought a 12-string Crafter electric-acoustic.  It's great.  Good quality for a reasonable price.

Re: new to chordie

Hey Gtx and Lowell.howard! Welcome to Chordie! cool

Where you guys from? What music d'ya like? How long ya bin playin'?

Questions, questions!?

Ha Kenny soaz! cool

Crafter make excellent entry to upper middle level guitars up to about the £750 mark (maybe more). They have got the rep that Yamaha guitars had in the 70s and 80s - good, well made guitars at an affordable price (anyone still got a solid top Yam over 15 years old? How's it sound? cool )

Are Crafter guitars available in your country?

Here's an example

Re: new to chordie

It sure is pretty.  I don't know that I've ever heard of that brand before.  I wish you luck with it.  If Kajima says it's all right, then it's all right.  Welcome to Chordie.

Re: new to chordie

yep that looks nice.

Welcome to chordie.
My advice is start playing it when you get it, dont give up, when your fingers get really sore give them a rest, learn your scales, and any other advice you want just ask here or another rellevant section of chordie.

Re: new to chordie

hi gtx,

i've got a crafter fx55, and i love it, it's left hand, a sort of greenie blue colour and with a built in pick up.

i'd seen it in a shop in swansea, south wales, and picked it up to waste a few minutes. my wife phoned me an hour later! so i went back a couple of days later and bought it....one perfect thing in my life....after my wife of course.

enjoy it, and welcome to chordie

Ask not what Chordie can do for you, but what you can do for Chordie.

Re: new to chordie

never heard of that type of guitar, but welcome any way.
