Topic: Steven Tyler Falls Off Stage In Sturgis,

Well glad I didn't go to the concert at the Buffalo Chip campground in Sturgis, my wife wanted to go and I didn't. I guess they had a power failure and he was dancing around entertaining the ground and fell off the stage and had to be taken to the Rapid City hospital.
To get to the concerts it is a real adventure, you have to go through Sturgis then on a 2 lane highway for about 5 miles that is the only way in and the only way out and has traffic backed up all the way from the Buffalo Chip to Sturgis and back up the interstate. The 5 mile stretch is also the way to Full Throttle Saloon, Glencoe Campgound and lots of others, its a very congested area.

Ugh...crowds.
I love riding, but I would never go to Sturgis.
Actually, I'm done with most large events from here on out.
Too many reasons for frustration and worryation...

Wow, I hope that S.Tyler is okay. He's getting kinda up there to be falling off of stages and such.

I've ridden motorcycles for 20 years, and you wouldn't catch me within 1000 miles of Sturgis, or Daytona, for that matter.

The whole point of a helmet is that I'm *alone* inside it.  big_smile

If you know your way around Sturgis is a lot of fun. I've been going to the rally for 30 some years now and the Black Hills are a little piece of heaven.
  I heard Tyler broke his shoulder and got bruised up some. Maybe when your in your sixties you should maybe sit down and do your jammin or maybe just chill out a little.
