Topic: Hold On - Mark Robertson (with recording)

Chordpro error: This is not a valid artistname. You will have to specify an artistname in the form {st: Artistname} in the beginning of the code.

Re: Hold On - Mark Robertson (with recording)

Ok, so this is an odd one. The chords I'm playing and the ones shown above are almost entirely different. Will try and tab the fingering for each, maybe someone can tell me the real names.......????

Em7 - 022033
A7sus4 - x02033
Cadd9 - x32033
D7sus4 - x02233
Am7 - x02010

Think thats them anyway.......

I've stuck a wee recording on my Myspace page. It's mega rough, just one quick take really but wanted to get this outta me dammit!! :-)

Its hard to give up something you know might not happen
Its even harder when its everything you ever wanted.

Re: Hold On - Mark Robertson (with recording)

Good one mark...

Re: Hold On - Mark Robertson (with recording)

Really like this one Mark.

Looks like you've got the chord names right = maybe one should be D7sus2sus4 ?  - but I only know them because of Chord Name anyway !

Good one, Mark. I can hear a bit of Oasis in there. Or maybe it's just me. I've been playing a bit too much Don't look Back in Anger recentely.

I really lke this. So when's the 1st gig? No pressure.

Is anything really made up of zeros and ones??

Haha....check out the chords to Wonderwall....you may find quite the similarity. I like the progression in that and it woks around the same sorta key.

No word on the gig front as yet. I've got one of my mates demanding to be my agent so i don't think he's going to let me bottle out of it. Will keep the chordians posted of course...

Re: Hold On - Mark Robertson (with recording)

It's not just you that likes the progression. Noel has written more than a few songs around the same chords. If it works, don't fix it. It's amazing how much, and how diverse a melody, you can fit in with it.

Re: Hold On - Mark Robertson (with recording)

Hey dudes and dudettes...sorry to bring an old song back to the top but I've done a new recording of this one and it's on my Myspace page now. Basically I cahnged the key and upped the tempo a bit. I think it's better. For those that may play along the capo's now on the 3rd fret....

Cheers,
mark
