Topic: Yamaha APX5-12a

Any thoughts on this model. This is the latest 12-string "deal" I'm scouting.

No experience with that model. I recently bought an Alvarez AD60-12 and can't stop playing it....very playable just over 200.00 US

Don't know about their 12 stringers but I have an APX500 and it is the bees knees. Sounds good both unplugged and plugged. Easy to play with a nice tone even though it is a slightly smaller bodied instrument.

Go and try out the 12 stringer; I bet you'll love it.

Is anything really made up of zeros and ones??

i have an apx500fm...don't know if that's the exact same as the apx500 or not...but i agree.  yamaha apx models are awesome.  i can sit around strumming mine for hours.  never thought about a 12 string, sounds difficult to me, but i'd say go for it.  or at least find one in person and test it out!
