Topic: Unusually simple alternate tunings

I don't play lead solos, let alone electric guitar, very much, but when I do my electric guitar is tuned to E,A,D,G,B,E flat. I just tune down the highest string a half step, and it feels more comfortable for the types of solos I play. Anybody else play in slightly weird tuning?

Whenever I play stuff like Sonic Youth, I use tunings like F#-F#-F#-F#-E-B,   G-A-B-D-E-G,   E-G-D-G-E-D.  Or sometimes,I'll use whole step or half step down.  My guitar strings hate me.

Drop D sounds good to me on the electric
