Haven't posted anything in ages, for two reasons. Not written anything in a while and also, I got a new laptop and haven't been able to record a darned thing. Very annoying.
I've downloaded a copy of audacity which will get me by, but the quality isn't great. However, when you get an idea you have to get it down...as I'm sure many of you will know.
A rough copy of the song is on my Myspace now, any comments etc very welcome.

Good stuff Mark! Listening to your "raw" recording I felt as if I was hangin' out with you in the living room as you played and sang. My hat is off to you for a job well done. Too little is always better than too much, in my humble opinion........

Just to let anyone who's interested, I've now recorded a "cleaner" version of this. Just dusted off the old laptop and off I went. Bit of a process, but hopefully worth it.
I've uploaded the newer version onto my Myspace page. I think it sounds ten times better but have a listen and let me know whatever you think. It's aaaaall good!!

Interesting development on this one actually. A guy who runs acoustic nights in a nearby club has heard this song on my Myspace page and has asked me to play at his club night. He's given me the option of a few dates too. I think it may actually happen!! Wooooo!

I just watched your, you tube .
I like all the words, the story line has relative meaning to everyone I'm sure. I like the melody and your strumming. But most of all I like the performance of the song. FINE JOB!! fine vocals
