Topic: the littlest hobbo theme tune

I think it was called the littlest hobbo ???


It was a bout a dog that ran about helping peole ( no not lassie) A border collie I tihnk? black and white dug anyway, the song went something like


theres a place that I want to be

down the road is where im going to be.

blah blah blah


maybe tomorrow I want to settle down

until tomorrow I'll just keep moving on


I dont know what it is called or who it is by, but I am wanting to learn this song

Hey Ken the tune your after is from a canadian T.V. show called

"The Littlest Hobo".Its about a German Sheperd and his travells.

He usually ends up helping people in need.Good show for the kids.I

think the theme goes liks this.


There's a voice that keeps on calling me.

Down the road thats where i'll

always be.

Every stop I make,I make a new freind.

Can't stay for long,just turn around, and I'm gone again.



Maybe tommorow ,I'll want to settle down.

its pretty easy, its like G and D for the verse with a wee C thrown in, and the same for the chorus.

Good dog songs deserve good people to play with - Or maybe good song dogs deserve good play with people - or maybe song dog goods deserve people good with play . . . . You know what I mean by the tone of my voice, anyway - the words don't really matter!

Here is a link to a dog song I posted in the forum a while back "My Dog Loves Me".  We have lots of dogs, so the song has lots of verses.

I now have the lyrics and it is just G C D in the entire song.


Now I can put my mind at rest and sing this when i get my voice back. I have completely lost my voice through all the singing,cheering,jeering shouting and screaming I dont at the Scotland football match yesterday.

we won 2-1 and still on top of the table above France and Italy the two best teams in the world. We will not last long at the top but whille we are there i will relish it.

Hello Ken, Early saturday morning here in eastern Canada. Up early and just happened to turn on T V and the "Littlest Hobo " was on. got my guitar and lyrics to the tune and played along. Nice song. Its raining here so I'll stay in and practice guitar all day. Cant get enough.

We just started to get sunshine here after a week of rain and one night it almost snowed! Temp dropped too 1 deg. Enjoy the rainny day good excuse to practice. My dogs love the littlest hobo. They stare at the T.V. and god forbid that hobo barks cause they will join in and wake up the neibours.

dinny worry about it.

I have been trying this song on and off for a while now. I have not been playing much recently though due to a problem in my vocal cords. I should know mor soon when I go to ENT for a camera rammed down me throat.
The doc says I might have singers nodes,

Hi upyrkilt,

Don't worry to much about it.! I had that procedure done twice.

The first specialist told me i would lose the E octave in my voice?

Did i? i dont know as i can still sing? The body works around that kind of Problem!

Just 1 word of warning, try to speak more quitely. Learn breath control from the tummy!

I had no voice for 6 months, everyone around my neck of the woods was delighted!!

As i would talk the legs off a kitchen table.. Good luck
