Topic: fingerpickin

anyone know where to download any fingerpickin stuff?

Re: fingerpickin

Hi cemor and welcome to chordie. Not sure what kind of stuff you are looking for, but here's a few links that might be helpful.

Fingerstyle basic lessons (near the bottom of the page):

A ton of songs can be played both by strumming or fingerstyle. Folk Artists like John Prine, Simon and Garfunkle, Bob Dylan, etc work especially well. Here's a link to a site that has tabs specifically formatted for fingerstyle:

Hope that helped!

Re: fingerpickin

Hey rodgerd, welcome to Chordie!

Try posting a thread in the Song Requests section for any songs you're looking for.

Will check things out and get back when I have something for you.

Hi Rogerd, and welcome!

Peter is one of my favorite artists also, but searching through several sites that used to host tabs of his music has resulted in failure on your behalf.  Sorry, it seems that his publisher is also MPA affiliated and several sites that I visited have removed his music on receipt of threatening letters from their solicitors.

Guess we'll have to buy the sheet music..... darn it all anyway!
