Topic: "Favorite Song Line" Follow up

After reading all the great lines from owen54's thread (Thanks Owen) I got to thinking about the songs I have written and what lines are my favorites. I'm sure with all the writers that have posted in the songwriting forum they also have their personal favorites. It would be interesting to hear what those would be along with the link to the song so we could all enjoy.
Thanks All smile

Kenny

Sometimes your feelings reach out but the ceilings too high for your fingers to reach all alone.
And then comes illusion and lonely confusion,
No time to walk,
No time to talk,
No time to say goodbye.

Re: "Favorite Song Line" Follow up

good follow up post kenny.

my favourite line I wrote myself I think would have to be from one of my first songs I wrote.

From a song called " time" A sad song about staying with a woman that is very upset after a terrible time in her life and not wanting anyone to be near her.

Time will pass and time can heal, time has got time to steal
Time may not be your frind but it's not all you've got until tomorrow

Re: "Favorite Song Line" Follow up

My favourite lines come from a song called "You" that I wrote 18 months ago.

'Perfection is very rarely found but that word is just right for you,
You're unique in this imperfect world an angel on earth is you.'

I don't know if it's a favorite, but it gets the most laughs.  "Can you teach a beagle keegle exercises?"
