Topic: Wonderful Tonight

Perhaps a silly question! Trying to find the intro to Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton. only thing is that I don't have a cut-away and can't access the beyond the 12th fret. Is there a way to do this please?

Re: Wonderful Tonight

Of course this is a silly question, but hey, we were all there at one point. I'm just testing this forum, I'm new to this.

Back to the question: If the original intro is something like this:

D----14/1614--12--14--

G-12-------------------

Then you move it to:

B-----10/1210--8--10--

D--7-------------------

Is this helping you?

Re: Wonderful Tonight

Yeah I guess it helps...thanks for that! Any chance of doing a tab for the intro above the 12th fret!? cheeky I know, but you gotta ask eh!?

Re: Wonderful Tonight

If you want to play it above the 12th fret its simple.

-------------------------------------------7--8--12--11
8--10^--8--10--8--10^--8----8--10^--8--10--------------
--------------------------9----------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------

Hope this helps.

Re: Wonderful Tonight

This is one of the easiest songs ever to strum, G, D, G, C on verses, most of Claptons actual chords are pretty easy.......Keep On..............justasinger54
