Maybe it is a depressing subject and, because of other influences, you are thinking of your own mortality, but is a great song. Unusually, when I played along with your recording, I did so three times on the trot when once is my norm.

As Kenny has already stated, and I also know from our conversations how close you and Ann are, you can come through this together. So I too have just opened a beer and will join you and Kenny. Cheers.

i wish i could play piano properly, it's an instrument i love, and just a note here, i normally write a song, then record it straight away, but this time after writing the song, i played it over and over, and it changed so much, eg; where the Gm7 is now was C7. i debated on writing another verse, then decided against it as [1] the song seemed complete. [2] it already runs for over 3 minutes and [3] i couldn't think of anything else to say!
and thank you on behalf of the principality of wales for educating others where national boundaries are concerned.
