Hi
I 'am using usb guitar link with the program guitar rig 2 witch i got on ebay. Everthing seems to load on to my computer ok,but i'm not getting any sound from my guitar through the computer.

Re: Usb guitar interface

Hi Stu and welcome to Chordie,

You might try double clicking on the speaker icon on your task bar and checking that it is routing the sound through your new device. Other than that I cannot help I'm afraid.

Re: Usb guitar interface

Hey Stu, I did a quick search and read a little about what you've got and am sorry to say that I'm not familiar with the product or software... I'll read some more though and see if anything pops up... Just to cover the simple stuff, The battery in the pickup is good right? Does the guitar have an onboard preamp? I ask because some pickups without a preamp will work when plugged up to an amp because the amp provides enough power for the pickup. The usb power supply that you have may not provide enough power for it . So if your guitar doesn't have a built in preamp, you may need to run it through one prior to hooking up the interface. Just some thoughts... Best of luck! Maybe someone else can offer more advice.. -Pix

Re: Usb guitar interface

Check your audio setup in the Guitar Rig program...

Re: Usb guitar interface

Hi Stu, Welcome to Chordie,

Have you tried going into Options, then Audio Devices? Click on the Audio Tab and the Voice tab. Make sure they are both set to the USB Device Setting.
Don't forget to click OK when changing setting.
Hope this helps
