Re: My Love, My Life
This one is about my beloved Ann and how we got together regardless of the fact my family were against it...at first.
I used a capo on the 3rd fret, so to play Eb you play a C shape chord etc
I have already uploaded it to My-Space...please remember it's only a demo

Re: My Love, My Life
Hi Phill,
Another great song from you and I guess you will be getting breakfast in bed for the next few weeks after this one. Nice to know that you found your soul mate in spite of your family's initial objection.

Hi Phill
My wife and I have been together over 30odd years so I can empathise with the lyrics put to together in a good song..
The recording sounds fine for home grown..
I'm wondering how you record your stuff in other words what kit do you have just being nosey.

Love your song ,Phill. I know just how you feel. After 7 years together{2 of them married} my mother inlaw still hates me.
But being bad is good policy

hi daddy, el mucho smoocho
hi selso,
mother-in-laws, who have them? mine just happens to make the worlds second best roast potatoes [my favorite food] my Ann makes the best!!!
hi ark,
we've been together about 30 years too, you've got to have bad times to know when your having good one's...yeah?
as for recording, i use several methods, this one was done by basic multi-tracking on a computer program, piano, bass, strings and drums, then transferring that lot to my korg d8 and adding guitars and vocals, there are shed-fulls of mistakes which i hope to get around to fixing, like changing the key, dumping the strings and re-recording them and the backing vocals were done the same time as the guitars, so they are all to hell, so they must be re-done. any thing else you'd like to know...i'm an open book?
hi rog,
cant see her getting up at 5.am to cook my cornflakes somehow!
thanks all
