What amp settings do <b>you</b> use for Guns n Roses - sweet child o mine


i can play it but it doesnt sound right,   Any help?

Now you could get out there and pay scalper's prices for a Slash signature Gibson and his signature Marshall amp or you could simply pick up a Line6 Pod and match up the closest modelled amp in it (I'm pretty sure it does JCMs but can't get a listing at present).

I use different equipment than Slash. I have a Big Muff with All 3 knobs turnned all the way up. I keep the Cry Baby all the way back in the bass position and play through the guitar imput on a Fender Bassman. Also on the Les I play with the switch up in the rythem position through most of the song. A lot of it depends on what guitar, amp and effects you use. If you play alot of GnR you might want to invest in the same set up Slash uses.
