Re: new chords

a chord that does not exist is not a chord.
all chords have been thought of.
there is no way there are chords that have not yet been discovered and in the slight chance that there is then they are not worth knowing.

that is like saying anyone know how to write a word down that does not exist but it does really but no one has thought of it yet,

hmmm, ye might have a friompitochir there,
this is my new word for "point"   lol

Re: new chords

Ken, I think he may have meant that the song didn't exist and he wanted to write it down with the chords.  If that's it, then there are instructions for how to do that in the Songwriting forum.  Select the Songwriting forum from the index and read the instructional message at the top.

I will not use the word friompitochir [non-existent?] without mentioning you upyerkilt!

Re: new chords

If I remember correctly, I was doing an online search a while ago and it said there were like 75,000 chords ... and here I was happy knowing I could play about 30 neutral

"Rhythm drives the Rock-n-Roll train"

Gibson Les Paul/PRS Custom/Ovation Celebrity Koa
Line6 SpiderIII 75

Re: new chords

I just counted out of interest all the chords I know.
I counted 34 I could play but not neccessarily can name them all. If I had to name them all I think it might go down to about 27ish

4 chords is enough for anyone though lol
