My wife turns 49 today, so we decided to have a musical jam birthday party. The Crash Helmut Jug Band will be here, lots of eats and treats and music. All Invited.

Phew, the b-day jam went great, Last count we had 31 great friends in our huge kitchen. A friend of mine from the UK , London, attended and the Jug Band started out with 7 Beatle tunes and he loved it. The music started around 9 0'clock till about 4 in the morning with really no breaks,except for the birthday cake around 10:30. We had two fender strats, acoustic bass,a Martin dx100 acoustic, a small set of drums, and a couple blues harps and the whole house rocked. The gals danced all nite long, the eats and treats were real good, we also had a designated driver for those that needed a drive, four couples stayed the nite and in the morn I made a huge breakfast for all, they all pitched in on the cleanup which was great.
Ken, recovery went well, thanks. Now I can't wait for the next one, lol.

Badeye, sounds like a typical and absolutely wonderful Maritime Bash. I'm from Halifax originally but living in Calgary for the past 19 yrs. I really miss those Kitchen Parties. 
Been to Sydney a couple times. What was the name of the Rock Bar in the 80's there? Great bar for live music. Cheers Heather

Sounds like everyone had a real good time jamming the night away.
Did you remember to wish Miss's Badeyes mother a Happy Birthing Day, after all it was 49 years to the day she gave birth and she deserves a pat on the back as well.
