everytime when I slide in a song there is almost no sound left!!!
any tips for me so that I could still make sound when I slide?

Distortion is also sometimes called gain or overdrive. Some amps come with that and some don't. You can also get a pedal for it. Reverb gives it depth kind of a combo of sustain and echo also available on some amps and in pedal form.
It also helps to make sure your strings are fairly new.

Dude, all you have to do is pluck the note and either maintain or increase finger pressure when you slide.
Turning up the distortion is good but what if you are playing something clean?
Also they have a sustainer pedel.
