Topic: March Break

Hey Toney, Just wondering if you get any of the March Break crowd down in your end of Florida?
Any one got any good stories to share from March Madness, I'm guessing there's a few. I've been to Florida once and that was thirty years ago and can't remember much(I wonder why lol) All I remember is a 3 floor bar in Daytona Beach called Big Daddys and it rocked. I wonder if it's still there.

I stay only 30 minutes from Myrtle Beach (SC) so we are always packed around spring break!! Yea lots of really good stories but this a family family friendly forum so I won't share any wink We're having a big contest this weekend at the local park and a huge party afterward so I'm sure this weekend will hold it's share of interesting stories as well wink I just hope I'll be in good enough shape to ride... I fractured my wrist a few weeks ago when one of my trucks broke on drop in and planted me. It's been feeling better this week though. I've been able to play guitar pretty much unhindered but riding well is going to be a painfull attempt, I fear... But I'll do it anyway! -Pix

Oh, Just to explain, I still skateboard wink  Kinda pathetic huh? 35 years old and still riding the bowls wink What else is there though when it's too cold to surf!!

I got on a skate board once - it told me to get off, muy rapido - and I haven't been back.

Surely, anything that threatens your guitar picking is a liability. Indeed, there should probably be a law against it.

Oh yeah Kenny. We're starting to get a huge influx of spring breakers down here. Saturday night, at Jimmy's Fish House and Iguana Bar on Clearwater Beach, a group of 12 or so from Philly placed a full bottle of beer on the ground directly in front of our stage. Each person took turns doing a "worship dance" around and/or over top of said bottle. It was similar to the old dance line on "Soul Train". I never look at the hot little chickys in their teensy bikinis either, they just happen to walk past where my eyes are pointed....................

and I'm not familiar with "Big Daddy's" in Daytona Beach but I do know that the "Pink Pony" is still kickin'!!!!!!
