Topic: Play Name That Tune!

Okay, I'm bored this morning so let's play a game...

Here's how it goes... I'm goin' to list a lyric line and the first person who knows the song answers and lists his lyric line and thus it continues...

So here's my line... Figure out the song then post your own! I tried to make the first one pretty easy...;)

" Trodding through San Juan

   In the arms of America

   Trodding through Jamaica, a ......."

Disclaimer: I realize we are not supposed to post full lyric's in the forum but I thought one line quotes in a trivial format would be fine...If this post in any way violates the lyrics clause please feel free to remove it..-Pix

**Admin Note - posting one line of a song is perfectly aceptable - enjoy the game. Roger **

Let's try:

All I got, is a red guitar, three chords and the truth

Re: Play Name That Tune!

In the vein of ...Jack Johnson, Matt Costa, ALO, Beautiful Girls, Ben Harper.....He's played with all these at diffrent venues. I believe he is signed under Brushfire records as well;) He also had a recent hit singing about buddha....

That should help.... This one is kinda hard seeing as it is not mainstream...

Nice catch there topdown. I was guessing G-Love and Special Sauce.

I got one for y'all;

"Should I  fall out of love, my fire in the night, to chase a feather in the wind;"

Give everything but up.

Re: Play Name That Tune!

Bare Naked Ladies "Pinch Me"  Great Band!!

Staying with silly lyrics...

"Five thousand froggies rockin really really really hard

Check out chickey drivin piggys little blue car"

There is a small line that goes between these 2 but I didn't want to give too much...

Re: Play Name That Tune!

I haven't got any lyrics to add, but I am encouraged by the absolute wierdness of lyrics that have been recorded.  Perhaps I should dust off my pen and write some more songs.  My other two have gotten lonely and want some friends to play with.  I surely couldn't write anything as wierd as these lyrics.  Well, I could, but it would take quite a lot of chemical entertainment aids and I've given that all up.

- Zurf

p.s.  Mostly all up.  The kind served 'on the rocks' I haven't.

p.p.s.  In the states.  No good Scotsman would take it 'on the rocks.'
