Topic: Effects pedals
yo people, i wuz wondering if anybody had any sugestings on an effects pedal. i used 2 have a digitech rp150 but i sold it , and now i really want another 1. so anybody hav a suggesting?

Some years ago I found a Korg effects pedal on sale. I didn't think I really needed it but I splurged.
I love it. It has 60 pre - programmed guitar sounds already available and I can write 60 more.
It helps change my sound a bunch when I play and sing alone.
We pronounce it "Guf Coast".

Yo Stratdude. I got a Boss RC-2 loop and it's like having a friend who plays guitar just like you that will jam with you. I haven't learned everything it does but it plays along and helps me learn.

Hi...you didn't mention what you are wanting to do with it but my favorite effects pedals are a Delay, Distortion, and chorus. The delay and chorus can always be used to "fatten" up a sound whether with an acoustic/electric or electric guitar. There are several multi-effects pedals out that are affordable and offer many sounds and settings...The one that I use a lot is a Zoom 505ii. The boss RC-2 mentioned by AccoustikNoyz is a fabulous and fun effect. It's called a looper and basically you can record a phrase, or several, and then play them back and play along with them...some really good youtube videos of that! You said you had an rp 150. I think the rp 250 connects via usb cable to your computer for recording or downloading patches from thier user forum. It even comes with software to edit parameters. I think. Don't quote me. Check out thier web site. People also put stuff on you tube.

Yo jaygordan75 sorry i didnt say wht im using 1 4(silly me), but i want 1 because im in a local christian rock band.But wht im looking 4 is a pedal with alot of different effects, such as distortoin(alot of that), different guitar sounds, drum beats 2 play along with so that i can practice, and also some recording software.And thanks craig23 for leeting me know about that, and i'll hav 2 look it up............sorry i havnt ben posting alot latellt. I got a Boss METAL ZONE II for Christmas and I don't know how I lived without it. The sustain is out of this world...great distortion tone (duh) but it doesn't sound like just a fuzzy mess like so many distortion stomp boxes do.

Diz are my effect pedal that i use in our church: METAL ROCKER, CHORUS, FLANGER, DELAY, DS-6, PANDORA...it sounds fabulous!
