Topic: fender fj70 jumbo acoustic

if anyone has one of these beauties, you might want to hang onto it. fender doesnt make them any more.i think they stopped making them in the mid 80,s. i purchased mine new in '78 in toronto and have kept it in very good condition. the sound is incredible on this guitar. if you tune it to a DADGAD tuning you end up with a full rich sound (thanks to the jumbo style body) you don't see many of these guitars around. now after having mine for 3o yrs the sound is just getting better. i put Martin medium guage bronze phosphorus strings on it. As they say here in Alberta "she's a goodin"

I don't know why, but I would be afraid to play it haha!

I always end up practising on my really cheap "first" guitar in case I break my expensive one.

Sound's silly really doesn't it!
