Topic: Playing With Others

Hello Chordians,
Southpaw 41L and I were having a discussion not long ago about playing with others and we kind of had a difference of opinion.
He prefers playing alone , mostly because of the hassle of band issues and I can see his point. What I was referring to by playing with others was the times that happen unrehearsed ,just getting together and having things click. Here's kind of what I was talking about.
Carl, bless his soul was one of my fathers favorites!

That was goose bumpin' good! Amazingly awesome!  It was like Carl had a class of top notch students all willing to absorb his master tutelage. Thanks for posting that link Wayne.

Peace and Guitars,

Give everything but up.

Re: Playing With Others

Hey Toney, I think what's cool is ,they weren't playing anything fancy and all shared the love of music and were having fun!

That's what I call, Gettin Down.  That is always enjoyable.

You can see all my video covers on http://www.youtube.com/bensonp1000
I have finally found happiness in my life.  Guitars, singing, beer and camping.  And they all intertwine wonderfully.

Re: Playing With Others

The very best thing about bluegrass festivals is the jam circles that pop up everywhere.

Wintergrass is two weeks away.  I can't wait.

Someday we'll win this thing...

Hey Jerome, I checked out the Wintergrass site, looks like a good one.I didn't know about it ,I have a brother in Shelton and a
brother in law in Port Angeles.
I am putting it on my calender for next year. Thanks for the heads up.
