Topic: probs with internet explorer and chordie?

Anyone else have this problem?

Last night and this morning I have been trying to reply to people but it takes ages then says there is an error.

Luckily this time I copied my reply to hypwood and opened up my firefox and then pasted the same reply and hit submit and it seems fine.

Is this a prob with explorer or just my computer?

Hi Ken,


You have just given me food for thought. I also have problems from time to time and very often I have had to copy and save a message and then post it later. At these times I found that my modem was not transmitting and seemed to be locked. Re-booting the PC sometimes worked but not always.


As I am in the middle of an orchard with no phone line I use a Vodafone Connect box which is a just a gloryfied mobile phone I supose and I had always thought that it was a Vodafone problem but I will now investigate further and maybe change from IE6 to Firefox and see if that makes a difference.
