Topic: Guitar on my Coat

I met a very nice guy yesterday who told me his story. Some of it is here, some of it not, and I have added some to ease the pain.

Re: Guitar on my Coat

Beautifully written Alan.
I'm sure there are a lot of the "older generation" out there that this would apply to. A sad song indeed but one that makes one think of not losing site of what one has.

Well Done
Will we get to hear this or at least your new friend?

Thanks for the comments.

All hail to Russell and the rest of you who have the recording stuff off pat. I'll get there, but it's baby steps at the minute.

And what's this "older generation" business !!!

Re: Guitar on my Coat

hi alan, this is surely heart rendering, i can't imagine anything more upsetting and soul destroying than to lose a child. i thought i would lose one of my grandson's in '07 in an accident while we were on holiday, and that really choked me up, so i guess the person who told you this story must be really gutted, give him my sympathies, and my congratulations to you for translating it so beautifully
