A Google search that took me .58 seconds http://www.google.com/search?q=shit+sit … =firefox-a to complete revealed about 1,560 instances of the word sh*t indexed on Chordie.
The community standard is a Chordie Editor may post material containing the word ****, but the word may not be used in the forum?

The google search that you did was pre-established content that exixts in the authors creations. Our job as moderators( volunteers by the way) is to keep the content posted on the forums free from offensive language. Your beef would be better resolved, as I previously mentioned, if you take it up with the main man here. (admin , administrator of "about Chordie").

Of all the things in the world to get uptight about, this is the battle you've picked to advance? To each his own, I guess. If that's what works for you, no problem. Just seems like there'd be things to worry about more than having a course anglo-saxon derivative automatically edited out of a song on a privately owned web-site is all.

"Songs are in general not hosted at Chordie. They are only indexed, and stored on other sites. I do not filter any songs indexed.
Posting in the forums are different. I do not censor words myself, but some of the moderators do. And I leave that up to the chief moderator of the forum to conclude whether anybody can be offended by some thing posted."

A whole ? isnt that a single thing ? just going back to my acid taking days in the 70s when things like this seemed relevant for an hour or two .. then for the rest of my life tried to convince myself I couldnt really have been that stupid ... but 40 years on ... I realised I was ... nice at the time though ! ... though I wouldnt want to spend my "whole " l life like it .. such a waste ... not being aware .
