Does anyone have a tascam mp gt1 trainer or any thing similar. It looks like a great device. I'm trying to find other options. The only thing that I've found is the boss micro br.

Got a buddy who has 1 and I have been wanting 1 for myself. Seems to be a very useful tool. The reason I want 1 is so I can change the key of the song into a key my wife is comfortable in singing. Since I travel with my work i usually am alone while doing my guitar practice. I will take a song, listen thru my cd player and learn the song in the key it is recorded in. It kinda gets rough for me to learn a song in "D" then try to listen to the same song while playing it in "G". Although I have found out that if I use my headphones, turn the volume up on the cd player, turn the volume down on my guitar I can kinda drown out the sound from the guitar but I can still play alone with the song for timing. I know this is wrong, BUT...........................

I have one and I like it. It works good, although downloading songs on it can be tricky. I hook my up to computer speakers that have a sub woofer and listen and play along with it. It has alot of features I need to figure out.
Hi, I have a Boss Micro BR, but I don't know the "Tascam".
The boss is a great bit of kit, but I use it more for the recording side of it, But it has a MP3 trainer so you can play along.
If you want more information please ask.
